Music

Mili

My favorie band for years now, all because of world.execute(me);! But my favorite song of
theirs is easily Ga1ahad and Scientific Witchery. Mili lyrics are fascinatingly weird, heartfelt, and tragic, and Momocashew's singing is beautiful. I'm addicted to lalilulas. This originally said I wasn't a Project Moon Fan, but I am begrudgingly changing my mind...

Chikoi the Maid

Maidcore as a whole is excellent (Ozoi!) but Chikoi was my intro to the genre! The music is
so moody and complex and it makes me want to just sink into it. It's layered into this deep well of noise that doesn't lose its atmosphere.

輕描淡寫

Contemplative and soul-soothing for me. I can feel myself breathe easier with their albums,
and I often turn to them when I want to meditate or steady myself. Any with rain sounds or street sounds are especially good! Dreampunk is a lovely genre.

Desired

Future funk is super cute and fun, and Desired is easily my favorite producer! Unlike vaporwave's cynical look at past nostalgia, future funk is all about the optimistic memories. It's magical girl music, and Desired does it wonderfull. Always upbeat!

Ado

I only recently discovered Ado, but her singing is ridiculously good. I love
how much husk and growl she's willing to put into it! Her range is super broad and I like the wide variety of genres she covers.

Kanye

The man is... complicated! But his music is amazing, be it the relatable stuff of
The College Dropout or the maximal production of MBDTF. I've listened to each album a ton of times and keep being eager to return.

Tyler, the Creator

He's so good. His variety and range is all over the place and his
production style is really unique. Flower Boy is an album that means a lot to me, as someone who's both been kind of a scum fuck and a flower boy many times through his life... it speaks to me more than most albums out there.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor

I've been listening to GY!BE since I was little. They're weird and
uncomfortable to listen to and beautiful. I almost never listen to them now - it asks so much of you - but I think they deserve a listen from everyone. No one does a crescendo like them.
